Step into the world of personal storytelling with award-winning actor, playwright, comedian, and facilitator Deborah Williams! This is a crash-course version of Zee Zee Theatre Company’s Rainbow Youth Storytelling Project, a low-barrier project centering 2SLGBTQ+ voices who often don’t get a say in their lives, bodies, and identities. In this 2-hour workshop, youth ages 12-19 will learn how personal storytelling can challenge stereotypes, spark conversations, and build connections.
The evening will also feature an interactive art experience by Pattern Nation, a pop-up booth from Tri-Cities Pride, free snacks, and time to connect!
This event is developed in support of True Colours, PoMoArts’ Youth Pride Art Exhibition.
This workshop is sponsored by Beedie Living, making arts accessible in our community!
