From August 7-16, 2026, Art Out Side Festival returns to transform Port Moody into an immersive multidisciplinary exhibition of outdoor installations, live art activations, and artist-led initiatives in everyday spaces across the city. Curated by PoMoArts, the 2026 program invites audiences to experience art in motion beyond traditional gallery walls, with creative work embedded into familiar cityscapes and natural landscapes.
This year, we are launching a dedicated evening of short film screenings and are seeking submissions from local filmmakers based in BC. Whether your work is documentary, narrative, experimental, animation, or something in between, we'd love to see it!
Apply by July 10, 2026.
We are seeking compelling solo or group exhibitions across all disciplines, including painting, sculpture, textiles, photography, digital and performance art, installation, ceramics, and more! Proposals with an immersive or participatory element are encouraged.
This is an opportunity to showcase your work within a vibrant, community-connected arts organization that values bold ideas and meaningful artistic experiences to reflect and engage our diverse community.
The Gallery at PoMoArts is seeking proposals for group and solo exhibitions featuring a wide variety of artistic mediums, including, but not limited to, drawing, painting, print media, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textile art, digital art, audio/video performance, site-specific installations, and performance art. Proposals including a participatory element are encouraged.
Proposals are encouraged from both emerging and established artists and artist groups.
Exhibition proposals are evaluated based on theme cohesion, relevance, community impact, diversity of mediums, and inclusion of non-derivative artworks.
There is no fee for submitting a proposal.
Ongoing Exhibition Proposals are received and reviewed on a continual basis. For annual artist calls, please see the posted submission deadlines.
We appreciate all submissions, but only those selected for consideration will be contacted.
All artwork is available for purchase unless indicated, with 30% of all artwork sales retained by PoMoArts and 70% of each sale going to the artist.
If your artwork is not for sale, you may indicate this with “NFS” (Not for sale) on the submission form.
Artwork pricing is up to the artist’s discretion, but if you have any questions, we would be happy to provide guidance. Please contact submissions@pomoarts.ca for assistance.
