Call for Art Makers FAQs

Do participating artists need to be onsite during the market?

Artists are only required to be onsite for artwork drop-off and pick-up dates, and the Opening Reception if they can attend. The market is designed as a boutique festive shopping experience in our galleries, and our staff set up and maintain all displays through the market season.

How and when will I be notified if my work is accepted?

Artists accepted into the market will receive notification via email by September 18, 2026. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, limited spots are available.

How is my artwork sold?

All artwork sales are processed onsite by Customer Service. PoMoArts retains 30% of the selling price of artwork sold during the market, with 70% to the artist after the market end date.

The market is open to the public during PoMoArts operating hours, and admission is free.

PoMoArts provides product fixtures and is responsible for merchandising and curation in the galleries. Custom displays can be discussed upon acceptance.

We are a wheelchair accessible facility. There is an elevator available, as well as a ramp and automatic door at our main entrance. The wheelchair accessible bathroom is located on the third floor.

Once accepted, artists will receive a marketing kit to help promote the market, and PoMoArts will also share the event across multiple platforms.

The Blackberry Winter Arts Market has a limited number of spaces available, and we receive many applications each year. Our selection process considers the overall mix of artists, products, styles, and price points to create a diverse and engaging market for visitors.

We are excited to welcome a mix of new and returning artists each year. While we can’t accommodate every application, we encourage all artists to apply again in future years.
