Mark National Indigenous Peoples Day with Birds of Hope – messages of hope and healing to recognize Indigenous history and experience on this land. PoMoArts invites you to come together in community to promote awareness and reflect on our past, present and future, together through art.

Decorate a wooden bird with your own message of hope and healing. Pin your bird to the community thread at PoMoArts to be carried on the Walk In The Presence of Ancestors on June 21.

Walk In The Presence of Ancestors

On June 21, join in a walk around the Inlet on Shoreline Trail, linking all the Coast Salish House Posts. The walk is lead by Tasha Faye Evans in partnership with Port Moody Ecological Society and PoMoArts. The walk ends at Old Orchard Park with bannock and tea.
