The new Belong Centre indoor skate park and community centre will be opening soon in Port Moody and Art Out Side is partnering with Owner Dave Jonsson to create a community mural called Moody By Nature. This mural will be painted throughout the festival by 3 artists with a community component at the end, where you can make your mark on the wall. Stop by and see these artists working and check out the progress on this new city piece.
I’m a passionate artist and skilled motor cycle mechanic with a love for all forms of creative expression. Whether it’s largescale spray painting, Clay sculptures, Motorcycle building, skate boarding, tattoo culture or automotive painting. I am based out of maple ridge and have over 10 years experience painting with multiple mediums. My art style has derived from my love for tattoos and urban art, with bold and articulate designs mixed with Canadian street style. Growing up skateboarding the parks across Canada seeing some of the most raw art was always very inspiring.

My name is Jake Graham, I’m a 25-year-old artist and tattooer based in Abbotsford, BC. I’ve spent years exploring a wide range of artistic mediums- from spray paint murals to detailed oil and acrylic paintings, as well as graphite and painted portraits. My creative path eventually led me into the world of tattooing, where I’ve been working professionally for the past two years. I specialize in everything from bold traditional styles to realism, bringing a high level of detail and craftsmanship to every piece I create. My background in fine art has shaped the way I approach tattooing, blending technical skill with creativity to give clients something truly personal and lasting. Whether it’s on canvas, skin or a wall, I take pride in my versatility and dedication to the craft.

Born and raised in Beirut and now based in Vancouver, Ibrahim Tellayh is a painter and muralist whose work combines classical oil painting techniques with a contemporary and deeply personal perspective. His art explores themes of memory, displacement, and resilience, often reflecting the emotional and psychological impact of migration and survival.
In addition to his studio practice, Ibrahim spent over three years working in a professional art gallery, where he gained hands-on experience in exhibition planning, curating, and artist support. This exposure to the innerworkings of the art world further sharpened his understanding of presentation, audience engagement, and the dialogue between artwork and space.
He also has more than three years of experience teaching art and leading creative workshops focused on the healing power of visual expression. Following the Beirut port explosion in 2020, he organized community-based art sessions that offered a space for reflection and collective recovery. His mural work spans Lebanon, Qatar, and Jordan.
Currently, Ibrahim is completing a master’s degree in Fine Arts, with a thesis focused onthe impact of Instagram on the art world, exploring how digital platforms are reshaping visibility, curation, and audience interaction. Whether on canvas or on walls, Ibrahim’s art stands as a reflection of resilience, memory, and transformation
