Rob Teszka: Rob Teszka performs charming, witty magic in an offbeat style that weaves together sleight of hand with engaging storytelling. He produces and hosts the "Parlour Magic Show" in Vancouver, performs in PoCo's "Cozy Mystery Show", and tours his solo off-broadway magic shows across Canada. You'll also find him entertaining at corporate events and private parties throughout the Lower Mainland. A favorable review once called him "a genuine eccentric": it's probably because he knots his own bow ties!
Collage - Sue Mcleod, Lorraine Liversey, Steph Mitchell, Terry Bates, Dion McGregor, Carolyn Holt, Connie Pelke, Greg Hall: Collage is an 8-person vocal group that entertains in the Tri-Cities and lower mainland. We sing songs from many different genres, from the harmonies of Mamas and Papas, the jazz of Manhattan Transfer, singalongs of The Beetles and showstopper songs from Queen. Our music is upbeat and we encourage you to sing, clap and dance!
Company - James Ross, Taylor McKee, Julia MacLean: Join Company at the Creek, as they explore their connection to water and the natural world around them through song. Inspired by the many streams that flow through Port Moody, Company will serenade the audience with folk and indie music that reflects on water, rivers, and land, including songs like Hold Back the River and Northern Attitude. These songs help us learn from the natural world while helping us to better understand ourselves and our relationship with nature.
Jennifer Hershman: Live music set, mix of original works and well known songs.
Kayla Price Quintet – Kayla Price (vocals), Bella Fedrigo (bass), Sam Takahashi (drums), Walter Hazzard (trumpet), Brit Or (piano): Grief, Joy& Jazz: A Community Exploration is a project featuring jazz-adjacent transcriptions, arrangements, and original compositions compiled by up-and-coming vocalist and band leader Kayla Price (she/her). This all-ages performance aims to shed light on the difficult emotions surrounding grief and loss, to share the message of connecting with others, and to bring people together to spark dialogue about how we can better show up for and support one another through tough times. Having been a Port Moody local all her life, Kayla is thrilled to be bringing such a talented quintet together in the city of the arts for this vulnerable, multimedia concert experience (featuring Sam Takahashi on drums, Bella Fedrigo on bass, Brit Or on piano, and Walter Hazzard on trumpet). She dedicates this performance to Michael Price (1967-2018), a loving, compassionate dad, husband and person whose laughs and ambitions knew no bounds."

Pink Lady - Tiana Gilbert, Abril Diaz Garcia: Pink Lady is made up of best friends Tiana and Abril, two recently graduated Music Diploma students from Douglas College. This duo goes beyond voice and guitar accompaniment- their bond and chemistry brings their performances to life. Abril’s background in r&b, soul, and jazz merged with Tiana’s penchant for folk, indie, and alternative guitar create a captivating, original sound. They pull inspiration from Mexican culture and classical disciplines picked up in their post-secondary education. Their intention is to create a cohesive vision with both their performances and songwriting- one that reflects their personal life experiences and appreciation for nurturing community.
Red Lanwell: I play a wide range of classic and modern songs, from Beatles to Eagles, and Coldplay to Counting Crows. I also like to sprinkle in some of my own original tunes here and there. I've often been told that I do a good job of playing just the right song for the right moment and place, and that is something I strive to do. I've built up a repertoire of over 500 songs so I can usually find the song to fit the setting. And if people have requests I always try to fulfill them.
Jewelles Smith: Art making with audience: explore the meaning of Home, Disability/Accessibility, in the context of a housing crisis and climate change. I am working exploring the idea of home using printmaking, collage and paint. The audience will be invited to write their own ideas about the meaning of home in this context and I will incorporate their words and ideas into a larger series that I am creating.
Jewelles Smith is a visual artist and writer. After sending her youngest son off to college, Smith experienced areno-viction, ultimately having to transplant from the Monashees to the lower mainland. During the pandemic, Smith moved to the Tri-cities, completed her PhD and turned fifty, emerging with the mantra, “say yes” to adventure, and has balanced her work as a JEDI (justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion)consultant with travel and creative passions. Her art will take you through an experiential journey, exploring themes of social justice, human rights, disability, and child loss. Smith’s paintings layer vibrant oil colours, images, text printmaking, and found objects on canvas. Currently, she is exploring the meaning of “home” in the context of the housing crisis, climate emergencies, and all the diversity of human experience and need.
Lynda Smith with her grandchildren will host and teach a rock painting session for both adults and youth. The focus will be on painting animal faces, insects or flowers on rocks with acrylic paint and/or POSCA pens.
