I’ve been drawing and painting since early childhood. I graduated with a diploma in Fine Art from Fanshawe College in Ontario in the 1980's. After working a few years I went back to school to purse university studies, culminating in a Ph.D. and licensing as a psychologist. I worked in hospitals, the public school system and the Federal prison system. During my career as a psychologist, artwork was a weekend reprieve from stress and demands inherent in my job. In 2014 I retired as a psychologist, moved to Port Moody and now my focus has returned to art. My work expresses my appreciation of color, animals, birds, movement, stillness and nature.
