Teesa Christie is a self taught watercolour artist who was born and raised in the Tri-Cities. Growing up so close to nature, she has developed a deep love of the natural world. She specializes in painting wildlife, flowers and portraits, striving to capture not just the likeness of her subjects, but also to capture their moods and personalities.
She is a keen bird-watcher and amateur naturalist who loves to paint the flora and fauna of the Pacific Northwest. Teesa is proud of her Japanese-Canadian heritage and her work is influenced by the expressiveness and simplicity of Japanese art.
Teesa is a member of the Port Moody Art Association and Art Focus.
