I strive to tell a simple yet enchanting story with each painting through colour, depth, point of view, and masterful execution. With each new project I challenge myself, search deeper, and continue to improve technically. My favorite subjects are sometimes unconventional moments in nature, and some are grand and pompous, deserving special treatment. I love finding the new object of my desire, choosing the right canvas, the lengthy process of underpainting, the sketching phase, choosing brushes, squeezing out copious amounts of paint, and finally applying paint to create the magic of colour.
