August 2017

Since the start of the renovations, the Arts Centre has undergone major changes around the entire building especially on the west side. The fire escape stairs have been removed and the support system for the new fire escape is being built in the storage garage. The scaffolding surrounding the building has already been set up and preparation for painting will start soon. More updates to come!

May 2017

Starting in early May, the Arts Centre will look a little bit different, as major renovations will be underway. The Arts Centre needs a new roof and new exterior stairway, as well as cleaning and painting of the building’s siding. During the renovations, business will continue as usual and the Arts Centre will be open, although you’ll notice crews working, and the addition of scaffolding and construction equipment. It’s expected the Arts Centre renovations will be completed by the end of this year. The renovations are necessary to prevent further deterioration that would lead to higher repair or replacement costs.
