Now in its 14th year, Girls Night Out is the must-attend event on Port Moody's fall calendar, bringing together community members, local businesses, and art lovers for an evening of comedy, musical performance, prizes, and pampering in support of arts programming at the Port Moody Arts Centre.
Girls Night Out features laugh-out-loud performances from some of Vancouver's best female entertainers, beauty demos and more than $4,000 in raffle prizes that that will leave you feeling pampered, and irresistible appetizers & drinks that together will excite and inspire.

Molly's Comedy Cabaret
Molly Wilson is a dynamic actress, singer, entertainer and writer from Vancouver, Canada. Molly keeps busy performing her monthly show, Molly's Comedy Cabaret, at various venues around the Lower Mainland as well as at corporate events. An Ovation Award winning performer, Molly has entertained audiences in the UK, US and Canada. She has appeared in numerous plays, musical theatre shows and even been killed in a couple of indie films!
Molly trained at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta where she earned her Diploma in Theatre Arts. She is an experienced performance coach, specializing in song interpretation and performance and she has taught both improv and musical theatre. Molly is an extremely dedicated performer who is very passionate about the work she creates and very grateful for the opportunity to perform for you tonight.
In less than three years, stand-up comedian and actress Yumi Nagashima has made a large splash on the North American comedy scene with her sassy stage presence and unique point of view. Yumi is a mainstay on the Vancouver comedy scene but she has performed in six different countries (USA, Australia, England, Germany, Japan and Canada.) You may have also heard her on the CBC radio program “The Debaters” or seen her on CBC TV at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. She has been featured on Andy Kindler's Alternative Show as a part of Just For Laugh North West. She was also a finalist in the 2016 & 2017 Yuk Off Competition. Yumi is also an accomplished actress and has many acting credits to her name, including "The Man in the High Castle"(HBO).
Colleen Brow is a writer, comedic performer and host of Vancouver Co-op Radio’s “The Storytelling Show.” She's a recipient of the 2018 Dave Broadfoot Award for Comedic Performance, and her solo show, “Ten Tips for a Collapsed Uterus” was a fan favourite at this year’s Vancouver Fringe Festival. She divides her time between the kitchen and laundry room.
Most recognizable for her 40+ appearances on CBC Radio’s The Debaters, Erica Sigurdson is one of Canada’s top headlining comedians. In her almost 20 years in the business she has recorded numerous television specials, traveled to Afghanistan to entertain the troops as well as Alert Nunavut - the most northern point of the globe inhabited by humans. She’s been a writer for Mr. D, Corner Gas Animated and won a Leo award for Best Comedy Screenwriting for the 21st annual Gemini Awards.
In addition to this, Erica is an advocate for raising awareness of Type 1 diabetes - which she has had since 1985. She is a firm believer that as with anything in life, life with type1 diabetes must be approached with a sense of humour
