Ceramic Artist in Residence (2019-2020)

Nolan Drew CAIR 2019 2020

Nolan Drew is a visual artist with a focus in ceramics, painting, photography and sculpture. He received his bachelor’s degree in Ceramics and Painting from Emily Carr University in 2013. Upon completion of his degree he went to Medicine Hat, AB to participate in an artist-in-residence program at Medalta Clay Studios. While there he met his wife, Mary Stankevicius, and they developed Throwing Neon Studios and moved to Halifax in 2014. After their marriage in 2015, he moved to Winnipeg, MB and Nolan produced artworks at The Edge Gallery and Studios. In 2018 Nolan moved to New Westminster, BC and in 2019 he worked as an Ceramics Instructor at Hand Eye Design Ceramics in Vancouver. He currently is working at his home studio
