I am drawn to create emotional responses from my experience rather than a direct interpretation, I paint the feeling I am receiving or the energy of the living thing.
My goal is to create the life not a mirrored image.
Liz Boulton’s artwork is inspired by the energy and emotion of people, cities and wildlife. Her mediums can be acrylics, mixed media or watercolors. Her works are creative responses to the emotion of what she is experiencing whether it is a city street filled with people or a bird on a branch which is then translated into a conversation between her and the medium she works with. She sells her work in local Art Galleries, gift shops, restaurants and coffee shops. She shares her passion for art by teaching watercolors and acrylics.
Born in Ontario, she currently resides in Pitt Meadows with her husband, where they have raised their three children.
