I can’t ever remember a time when I wasn’t creating something, from doll clothes to my own clothes and on to theatre costumes, ceramics, lapidary, many types of jewelry and fibre art. It is an endless adventure.
My abiding love however is for the beads, the smaller the better. I continue to produce works in a variety of forms and most of them include beads in some way. When I work with beads I am reminded that the possibilities are infinite.
Mother Nature is a constant source of inspiration and travel deepens my awareness of her many faces. Found objects, natural or man-made and unusual materials are often incorporated into finished pieces. The time I spend creating gives me great joy and I delight in making pieces that allow others to share that joy in some small way.
