Painting is my passion and my mediums of choice are watercolour and acrylic. I paint primarily in a representational manner and I am drawn to the figure, wildife and landscape subjects. I love the abstract shapes found in our environment and in nature and that draws me in and inspires me. Mixing the two to help create what I see and feel. I tend to paint places I have been to or things that I know, reliving a moment in time or recapturing the emotion felt. Each painting is a personal journey allowing me to put my own perspective on what I see making the ordinary or familiar take on a new life. As an artist I hope to stir a reaction in those who see my work.
