Artist Statement

My pottery is handbuilt and gas fired at approximately 2350 degrees Fahrenheit, producing unique and variable results depending on the firing or glazing. These are typical characteristics of each piece and are not flaws.At 2350 degrees, the clay is vitrified and can withstand an oven or microwave. They are also dishwasher resilient. My pottery is both functional and artistic.
