Janice Cotter has been the Gallery Manager at Port Moody Arts Centre since January 2014 and has worked and volunteered in the arts for more than twenty-five years. She plans, directs and manages a schedule of up to 20 exhibitions a year in the Arts Centre’s four galleries that feature the work of local, national, and international artists. She also organizes additional events and participatory features related to the exhibitions and works closely with artists to provide a positive gallery experience and create engaging exhibits.
Janice is a strong advocate for arts and culture in the community. She is one of the organizers of The Shuffle Port Moody Art Walk, served for three terms on the Coquitlam Arts & Culture Committee, as well serving on the Evergreen Line Public Art Committee, the Coquitlam 125th Anniversary Steering Task Force and the inaugural Kaleidoscope Arts and Culture Festival Committee.
